Page visits and analytics-style logs

We may log technical information about successful page views, such as the URL visited, approximate time, HTTP method, browser type (user agent), and IP-derived data where available. We use this to understand traffic, diagnose issues, and improve the service. This is not used for cross-site advertising profiles on this site.

Consent: we show a cookie dialog to all visitors until they choose Accept or Decline. We do not store these analytics logs unless you accept. If you decline, we continue not to store them (you may change your mind later by clearing the SelfFool.TrackingConsent cookie and revisiting the site).

EEA, UK, and Switzerland: the dialog explains that analytics storage in these regions requires your acceptance. Country may be inferred from headers your network sends (for example CF-IPCountry).
